Welcome to my eportfolio. I am a graduate of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Ithaca College. Feel free to browse and ask any questions; my email address is Brittany.Annis@gmail.com.
My primary mission is to help the people I encounter develop the skills and acquire the knowledge they need to promote a happy and healthy lifestyle. From a therapeutic perspective, I will use my clinical expertise to improve the lives and well-being of those I treat. My patients will receive the highest level of care I can offer as a physical therapy professional in the health care field. I will strive to broaden my knowledge so that I can stay current with evidence-based practice and continue learning. My secondary mission is to pursue a specialization in the field of an orthopedic certified specialist with an emphasis on manual therapy.
I am currently a 23-year-old graduate from Poughkeepsie, NY. I am a hard-worker, and I appreciate everything that the Ithaca College faculty and staff have done to assist me in my journey as a therapist. I believe that I was born to help others, and I strive to fulfill that goal from a therapeutic aspect. Many of my family members are in the health care field, as physical therapists, occupational therapists, or speech therapists. My family has brought me up to have a heart of gold, and I apply that to each patient or employee that I come in contact with.
Personally, I spend my free time running, hiking, biking, snowboarding, or other outdoor activities. I am very family-oriented, and I enjoy traveling and new experiences. Some of my hobbies include cooking, reading, and enjoying music and movies.
