Albany River Rats

Over the 2008 Winter, I worked for the Albany River Rats, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes. On game days, my primary responsibilities included preparing the arena for the game by setting up VIP areas and kid zones, supplying the necessary people with game day programs, and running the staring line ups and active rosters to the appropriate people. During the game, I was responsible for assisting the office manager in intermission events such as junior hockey mini games and promotional events. On non-game days, I primarily helped the sales and marketing team with various marketing flyers and website updates. I also worked closely with the director of community relations preparing for team school visits and autograph signings.
