Welcome to my ePortfolio!

My name is Dominique Brown; I am a sophomore Integrated Marketing Communications major with French and International Communications minors at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. My major is a comprehensive combination of both public relations and advertising courses from the prestigious Roy H. Park School of Communications as well as marketing classes from the School of Business.  

I am interested in the public relations side of the IMC major. Public relations is a major part of large corporations, as well as brands, and non profit organizations. I enjoy PR because it’s the doorway to public perception. The ability to mold public views and have an affect on a person or a corporation’s image is what I love about PR.

After graduating, I hope to work at a fashion PR firm in NYC. Fashion is a large part of my life. I have been infatuated with style and the overall appeal of how things look since I was young. In 2009 I started my own blog entitled, Fashionique by Dominique. I update it daily with the latest fashion news and trends. 

I have big dreams. I am known for setting the bar high and achieving above and beyond. I do not let obstacles deter me, at most they encourage me to do better and push harder. Life is about living and that's exactly what I am doing.
