Hi my name is Dylan Gawinski Stern I am from Rochester, New York. Some of my hobbies include volleyball, art, music, and being outdoors, whether it's running, hiking, walking, or just enjoying the nature.
I am currently a freshman at Ithaca College studying to achieve a doctorate in physical therapy. Staying focused and learning everyday, I am diligently working into the profession.
I love sharing stories, motivating, cooperating, and encouraging determination in people I meet. I have completed thirty-six hours of shadowing physical therapists in the University of Rochester Medical Rehabilitation Center working with patients ranging from ten years old to the upper sixties. Seeing improvement with patients is a life changing experience.
Helping people is a big part of my life, it started when I was nine years old and I donated my hair for the first time to Locks for Love. I felt great doing something for someone else so every two years I would donate again, I have gone five times and look forward to continuing my tradition. I have done many community service acts to make a difference and with a degree in physical therapy I am excited to commit my career to improving peoples lives!
