I'm Elizabeth (Ellie) Lambert a member of the Ithaca College Class of 2015. I'm a Communications Management and Design with no declared minors. At the present moment I am considering the following minors, Integrated Marketing Communications, Culture and Communications and International Politics.
I grew up with two older brothers, one of which has downs syndrome. Growing up with a disabled brother forced me to have an open mind and allowed me to view the world in different ways. This allowed me to view communication for all those with disabilities mental or physical in a different way. Eventually this lead to a love for communications in general.
This new love for communications gave life to my joy of working on people one on one and also in groups. This lead to a love for community service which ranged from both school and church activities. Some of these activities included PINK OUT, select chamber choir and select women's chamber choir which allowed me the perform in Carnegie Hall twice and a traveling puppet team which I have been apart of for the past eight years.
In 2011 during my senior year I was inducted into National Honors Society for my community and school involvement and was elected as one of the editors of the THS yearbook. I have created different websites along with a friend for the Connecticut history day and competed on both the regional and state level. As an individual I wish to take advantage of everything PARK has to offer so I will be prepared to do whatever I can in the future to make the world a better place for everyone no matter their personal setbacks.
