Hi, my name is Gregory Addicott. I am a Junior here at Ithaca College and am enjoying every minute of the college experience. Currently I am a student in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance with a major in Public and Community Health with an Emphasis in Public Policy. I graduated from Charles O. Dickerson High School in Trumansburg, New York where I lived for fourteen years. Trumansburg is about twenty minutes outside Ithaca and is home to the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi as well as the Grassroots Music and Dance Festival. Growing up around Ithaca only further solidified my decision in choosing to attend Ithaca College. The community and landscape are unparalleled by any campus around.
Outside of the classroom I am a Leadership Scholar and participate in various service activities such as the Cancer Resource Center of the Fingerlakes' 5K Cancer Walk. I am also a member of Ithaca College's Association of Healthcare Professionals and Chief-of-Staff for the Student Government Association. In this group we host several speakers to present different topics relating to healthcare. We also travel to nearby healthcare facilities where we speak to healthcare professionals about their experiences in healthcare and obtain valuable professional advice.
