 Hello, my name is Hannah.

I'm currently in my fifth year of Ithaca College's DPT program, and my passion is working with elderly populations. 

As of February 2013 I have worked for three years as a resident care associate for Brookdale Senior Living's memory care unit, Clare Bridge.  In my daily duties I am responsible for the welfare of 36 residents living with dementia, including hygiene maintenance, motor skills preservation, and passing medication. Though not the most prestigious position, it has proved to be as rewarding as my clinical education, and my experiences there, in conjunction with my coursework, have fostered a deep appreciation for patient care.

I hail from Geneva, NY - only a 1-hour drive North of Ithaca.  It was partially my proximity to and familiarity with the city that brought me to the college, but it was mostly due to my high school physical therapist.  I attended PT for several months following a meniscal injury, endearing me to my therapist (an Ithaca College graduate) and the profession.
