Joshua Couce

My name is Joshua Couce and I am a part of the Class of 2015 at Ithaca College. I am a Politics Major with a Concentration in International Studies and a minor in Sociology.

I graduated from Newton High School in Newton, New Jersey where I was born and raised. I am an Emergency Medical Technician, an Eagle Scout and I like to collect old money.

Many have asked me why I choose Ithaca College and I say to them, at Ithaca, you are a student instead of a number. I say this because of many invaluable experiences I have had and how Ithaca College has and continues to help me develop into the person I hope to be one day. To me, Ithaca College is a treasure embedded within universities across the nation and the unique opportunities available to students are ones that I feel would not be found at other institutions.

Through my life, I have tried to dedicate myself to serving others through being an Eagle Scout, an Emergency Medical Technician, at volunteer at several Food Pantries and more. I feel that it my duty as a citizen to help out others in my community. I hope to one day have a career as an attorney to help advocate for those who are underprivileged and underrepresented and possibly run to be a United States Senator to help better this country and its citizens.

Please feel free to contact me at joshua.couce@gmail.com with any questions for comments. Cheers!
