Student ePortfolio Julie . Hepp

   My name is Julie Hepp and I am a freshman English Major at Ithaca College. My favourite things to do are reading, writing, drawing, listening to music, and enjoying the outdoors. My favourite kind of writing is creative, and I will be posting some of my works over in the documents section.

  This summer, I hope to be either an Orientation Leader or a Team Leader for one of the Jumpstart programs. I truly love Ithaca and I hope to share my love and enthusiasm for the school, the area, and the nature around it. When I was an entering freshmen at orientation, I felt extremely welcomed and thought being an Orientation Leader looked like it would be like a lot of fun. I participated in E.C.H.O., which was a fantastic experience and further helped me understand the necessity to preserve and protect our Earth by being as sustainable as possible.

I would also love any sort of work in the Ithaca College Library because of my love for books. I have volunteered for my local library over the summers and learned how to sort books and transfer them in and out. I also worked for a local bookshop called Children's Book World where I packed boxes, called people, shelved, and worked the cash register so I have a lot of experience with books.

I would also be interested in working for any where else in Ithaca that needs a hard worker who learns fast and is very nice.
