Reporting from Lake County Nightside

"A person starts dying when they stop dreaming."-Brian Williams

I reign from the sunny state of Florida, and I am thrilled to be apart of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College! I am currently a sophomore Television-Radio Major, with minors in Politics, and International Communications.  While I have been at Ithaca College, I interned at the Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival, as well Ithaca's Z95.5 FM. I am currently the News Director at Ithaca College Television, and oversee ICTV's primary news program, Newswatch 16. I started out as an Assistant Producer at Newswatch 16, then was promoted to General Assignment reporter before becoming News Director. In the Fall of 2012, I covered New York State's 23rd congressional district race, and reported live from the White House on election night for ICTV. I am also a contributor on ICTV's political round table show Experts Say. In addition to television news, I also have experience in radio news. Since Freshman year, I have been apart of 92 WICB's newsteam. While at WICB, I have covered Ithaca's Mayoral Elections, and various events around Tompkins County. I also do morning drive newscasts.   In the summer of 2012, I was an intern at Orlando's ABC affiliate, WFTV Channel 9. At WFTV, I worked with reporters and assignment editors covering Central Florida's news. After graduation I hope to be a reporter at a media outlet, and earn a degree in law.
