Here I am getting ready to surf at Cresecent Head- New South Wales, Australia- Fall 2011.

Hello, my name is Jeff Reagan. I'm originally from Concord, New Hampshire and just recently graduated Ithaca College. I graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree. I majored in Cinema and Photography in the Roy H. Park Communications department, and achieved an overall GPA of 3.7 in my academic career. At Ithaca, I've made several movies, both film and digital, and worked extensively within ICTV. I made the Dean's List in the Fall 2009, Spring 2010, and Spring 2011 semesters.

For the Fall 2011 semester, I studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. While down under, I interned at National Indigenous Television (NITV), where I was a camera operator and assistant editor for a variety of their programs. I also had the opportunity to assist one of the main NITV editors with a commercial shoot he was hired to direct for Disney's "Cars 2" Australia DVD release. I am a hard-working, funny, outgoing, friendly, and organized individual.

I just returned from a Fall semester interning in Los Angeles through the Ithaca College Los Angeles program (ICLA). There, I interned at MTV at Viacom in Santa Monica and Trailer Park Productions in Hollywood. I was in the Casting & Talent department at MTV where I held office duties and managed the network's talent. I was fortunate to work as a production assistant at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), as well as cast after parties including for their highest rated show "Awkward." I also sat in and edited several auditions for upcoming MTV pilots that were in the process of casting their actors. I was in the post-production department at Trailer Park where I shadowed and learned how the movie trailer editing business operates.

I just finished my senior thesis film, titled "Type Right." My main roles on it were producer and editor. I created it with my partner and friend Nick Ljubicich. It revolves around a journalist who embellishes his articles and soon pays the price for his actions. It was very well-received at the senior screenings and was nominated for "Best of Park", in which they pick the top film in the overall thesis class, much like the Oscars. I have a private link to show professors and family, and if you wish to see it, I will send you it. It is still private because we are in the process of distribution and submitting it to film festivals. I also have production photos and our movie poster on our Facebook awareness page if you further look into my main menu and documents.

In addition to my course of study, filmmaking is one of my passions and hobbies. I hope to work in Hollywood one day making movies that range from comedies to serious dramas. My ideal career is that of a multi-job man; directing, producing, starring in my own/ others' films, writing, editing, and working with light and sound, you name it. I have a lot of favorite movies, but some in particular are "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", and "The Drifter." I've always loved to entertain and still do, and I hope to continue to entertain millions when I'm older.  I was part of the Ithaca College Comedy Club, where I performed standup, sketch, and improv comedy. I also have multiple "Honorable Mentions" in the annual Ithaca College film festival Skip Landen Golden Doorknob Awards.

One of my other favorites hobbies is surfing. Though it sounds unusual, since New Hampshire isn't known for surfing, there are some fantastic spots on the New England coast I've been able to take advantage of. The closest one to me is The Wall, in North Hampton Beach, NH. Surfing helps me relax, clear my head, exercise, and have fun. It also helps me think and come up with some creative ideas for films and videos. I've traveled to places like Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and Costa Rica to surf (Australia is my favorite so far) and I'd love to one day combine my hobbies by capturing this on film as a professional surf filmmaker or photographer. I also love to travel; not just to vacation, but to experience different cultures and witness the true beauty of what that nature has to offer throughout the world.
