Student ePortfolio Lindsay Harris

Welcome to my Eportfolio and thank you for taking the time to view it. My name is Lindsay Harris. I am a senior in the Ithaca College in the Physical Therapy Program. I will be continuing at Ithaca to get my doctorate of Physical Therapy.Concurrently, I attained a minor in Exerise Science and will be working to obtain a masters in Exercise Physiology and continue that degree after I finish the Physical Therapy Program. I believe that understanding the physiology of the body when under the stress of exercise is important to understand when designing an exercise program for a client. It has also been a passion of mine to understand how exercise effects the body ever since I took my first Anatomy and Physiology course. I now work as a teaching assistant for that anatomy and physiology course on campus.

Aside from understanding the human body, my other greatest intrest is athletics. I have participated in all different sports throughout my life, earning all-league awards in high school and taking time to coach younger athletes. I have continued this passion into college and run indoor and outdoor track here at Ithaca. I also continue playing baskeball as an intramural and hope to one day coach a children's team along with practice physical therapy.
