Hi, my name is Marc Deeley and I am a Health Sciences Pre-Med major here at Ithaca College. I have recently transfered here from SUNY Fredonia, where I majored in Biology. I want to become a health care provider, whether it be a Physican, Physician Assitant, Optometrist or other. Coming to Ithaca was a great move for me, I have already learned a great deal about the medical field; aspects which would have never been covered as a Biology major at SUNY Fredonia. I graduated from Pittsford Mendon High School in Rochester, New York in 2007.  I then took two years off from school and played ice hockey in Canada where I gained valuable skills such as leadership, communication, time management and organization.  It was in Canada where I decided I wanted to go into the medical field. Outside of the classroom I am a member of the Nutrition Club, play for the Club Men's Ice Hockey Team, and I am an Anatomy and Physiology tutor.
