My name is Marissa Framarini, and I'm a multi-platform communications student at the Roy H. Park School of Communications, studying journalism and politics. I thrive on the excitement within the ever-changing world of news and media, and am a native to the social Web and online space. My real home, however, is in the heart and center of the entertainment industry.

Currently I serve as Ithaca College's Music Chair, where I am in charge of organizing and staging a variety of live musical programs and events for the college community. In addition, I have  logged more than 1,000 hours in the nationally recognized and award-winning stations, VIC and WICB Radio, and ICTV. I have also contributed to industry leaders, including the London music PR firm, Blurb PR. As a 2013 summer music publicity intern, I was tasked with brainstorming and developing innovative marketing strategies, content and programs to increase exposure for the company and its clients, including popular artists, such as Ani DiFranco.

Here in my online profile you will find links, PDFs and samples of published articles, along with a current resume, highlighting my experience and contributions.
