Mary Kielar

I'm a native of Rochester, NY that has a strong passion for journalism. Broadcasting is my main area of interest, and I have loved watching the news since I can remember. In my earliest days, I was in front of the family video camera telling whoever would listen the "news" of the day. 

I couldn't be more thrilled to be part of the Ithaca College family and the Roy H. Park School of Communications. The resources and network opportunities here are unbeatable. I am currently an Assistant producer on ICTV's Newswatch16 and a member of the Society of Professional Journalists. My goal is to become an anchor at a major news station, and  travel around the world to report meaningful stories.
