My name is Nicole Byrnes and I come from a small town, Bainbridge, NY. I graduated from Bainbridge-Guilford High School. Ever since I was a child, I always had an high interest for anything science related and always took as many science/math classes as I could. In high school, I was a part of many organizations including class treasurer, yearbook member/secretary, envriothon, and honor society. Now I'm a freshman at Ithaca college studying Biology. In the future, I want to some day work at a lab with my dream of being part of creating some type of new medication. Also, I plan to join some activities and get involved in the community with my stay at Ithaca. 

Ouside of school, I like photography (although not professionally, just for fun), writing short stories, and reading. I also like to geocache in my free time, which is like a worldwide treasure hunt. I like to travel, and hope to travel around the world to learn about different cultures and its history. My dream is to some day visit Italy, where my great-grandparents are from.
