Nicole Kukieza, tuba, will be entering her senior year as a Music Education and Tuba Performance major at Ithaca College. Nicole grew up just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the small town of Zelienople. She graduated in the top 5% of her class from Seneca Valley High School in June of 2009. She is passionate in the fields of music education and tuba performance, but also enjoys Tae Kwon Do, in which she is a third degree black belt, cycling, swimming, and running. Nicole has competed at numerous international martial arts tournaments and continues to draw parallels between the sport and her career as a musician.
