Riley Goodemote

About

A native of Brattleboro, Vermont, Riley Goodemote is an independent musician and educator residing in Ithaca, New York. He is a versatile instrumentalist and vocalist who specializes in classical and jazz trombone performance and traditional fiddling styles on the mandolin.

Riley teaches trombone and mandolin privately in Southern Vermont and in the Ithaca area, and has taught in the Windham Southeast school district (Vermont) along with his practicum work in Brockport, New York.

In his time at the Ithaca College School of Music he studied trombone with Dr. Harold Reynolds and conducting with Dr. Jeffrey Meyer and performed under numerous conductors including Dr. Mark Fonder, Dr. Elizabeth Peterson, and Michael Titlebaum.
