I'm a freshman at Ithaca College, majoring in Journalism. Ever since my experience in Intro to Journalism during my sophomore year of high school, I knew that I had a special love for writing articles. I enjoyed every assignment and always gave my most valiant effort. I earned the position of class editor in sophomore year, then worked my way up to becoming the Arts & Entertainment editor for the school newspaper, and in the beginning of senior year, I became Editor-in-Chief. I had never been so passionate about anything before, so being Editor-in-Chief was something I took a lot of pride in. I voluntarily put an immense amount of effort into helping publish the school newspaper once every quarter.
I especially love reviewing certain events, new albums, and/or concerts. Music is incredibly important to me, so I enjoy combining my love for writing and my love for music. I work as a copy-editor and graphic designer for The Ithacan, and I plan to get even more involved with it. I'm also excited to study abroad as soon as I can and get involved with various internships. I went to Germany for three weeks when I was 15 years old through an exchange program, and I've been craving to travel more ever since. First-hand experiences are always fulfilling, to say the least.
Aside from my love for journalism, I also love listening rock music, going on nature walks, snowboarding, and DJing for VIC Radio. Listen for Rockin' Robyn from 2-4 a.m. Wednesday mornings! Only if it's convenient, of course.
