My name is Ryan Wessels and I am freshman Health Sciences major with a pre-med concentration. After I graduate from Ithaca College I  will further my education and become a physicians assistant. I have always been intrigued by the medical field because many members of my family are doctors or nurses. Although I am a very hard worker, I love to have fun. I am a huge sports fan. The Boston Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins, and New England Patriots are my favorite teams. I also play sports in my free time. I played football for ten years of my life and I also played baseball for twelve years. Although I never played organized basketball, I play pickup games all the time back home. 

I am from a small rural town called Epsom, New Hampshire; so coming out to Ithaca was not a big change for me. Being from New Hampshire, winter has become my favorite season of the year. I am a huge skiing fan, and I go whenever possible. For example, five of my closest friends and I went up to Mt. Tremblant in Montreal, Canada for five days of just hanging out and skiing. It was the most memorable vacation of my life. Skiing is not my only winter hobby, I also love to play pond hockey. I'm not very good but it is still a blast to just go and have fun. Thats who I am. I am a laid back, easy going guy who is always looking to have a good time.
