Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Welcome to my profile! My name is Sam Greenebaum and I am a Junior in the Ithaca College Health Science and Human Performance Department. I am a Health Care Management major with a dual minor in Business and Deaf Studies. After completing my career at Ithaca College, I plan on pursuing a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration. One day, I hope to work as an Administrator at a large teaching hospital.

Being no stranger to health care and the health care system, and having spent time in health settings, I came to realize that there were many issues with hospital operations. Between issues with required health insurance, rising costs of care, and an aging population, I decided that working to correct these issues and improve the standard of health care provision was what I ultimately wanted to do. I am fortunate enough to attend a school I greatly enjoy and pursue a career path I am interested in.

I hail from Avon, Connecticut, a small suburb about a half an hour from Hartford. Although things do not always come easy to me, I work hard and I value my education greatly. I am a member and President of the Ithaca College Club Swim Team, which has afforded me the chance to expand my leadership and financial skills, as well as continue to participate in a sport I greatly enjoy. In high school, I coxed crew for three years, allowing me to improve my leadership skills in an often chaotic environment. I have spent time working with both the elderly and children, experiences that improved my patience and exposed me to different ideas, mindsets, and people.

Please feel to look around my profile and enjoy!
