Hello! My name is Sally Scheidt. I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and I am currently enrolled as a freshman at Ithaca college. I am a documentary studies and production major at the Roy H. Park school of communications. Also I hope to minor in international studies. 

I've worked at the local newspaper in my town for two years now. Doing this helped me get a better understanding of how the system works. Since communications is shifting, I had to learn new skills on not only computers but also on video cameras and editing software. Everything in the communications field is now connected.

After I graduate in 2015 I hope to have a career in the film industry. As of right now I plan on exploring my options and trying to further understand the media world. I intend on working very hard to learn all the skills possible in order to make my dreams come true. That's one thing i like about myself, I never give up. Since media and technology are constantly changing, I am encouraging myself to stay updated. 

Hopefully I will get a broader understanding of the media and communications systems work throughout my college career.
