About Me

I am a recent graduate of Ithaca College as a Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) major.  I have been a highly involved intercollegiate athlete at Ithaca College as a member of the soccer and track and field teams.  I am from a small Massachusetts town called Stow that sits about 30 miles west of Boston.  Before Ithaca, I attended Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton Massachusetts.  During my four years there I was highly involved in several extracurricular activities.  I was an accomplished three sport athlete and lettered in soccer, alpine ski racing, and track and field all four years.  I was also highly involved in music as a trumpet player in the Advanced Jazz Ensemble for three years.  In my free time I enjoy relaxing, being outside, and hanging out with my roommates.  I also enjoy playing guitar, listening to music, and playing sports.

At Ithaca, I was a member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) club at Ithaca College.  AAF gave me the opportunity to learn more about the advertising industry with guest speakers and several advertising related projects.

I am also interned in the marketing department at the Museum of the Earth in Ithaca, NY.  The Museum of the Earth is a small, non-profit museum focusing on paleontology and archaeology.  I have been conducting research for the museum and working on other marketing projects.

In my final semester at Ithaca College I was enrolled in my senior IMC capstone class Ad Lab.  The goal of this class was to create a complete and integrated advertising campaign for our client, Nissan.  Our task was to develop a marketing campaign for Nissan that was aimed towards multicultural millennials (African-American, Hispanic-American, and Chinese-American men and women age 18-34).  The class was completely student run and organized.  At the end of the year we presented our hard work at the National Student Advertising Competition in New York City, where we competed against other schools in the Northeast Region.  We took second place in our region and were all very proud of the work we accomplished.  Our complete plan book can be viewed in the documents section.

I wish to pursue a career in marketing and advertising and further increase my knowledge and experience in the marketing world.
